🐱Calling all animal lovers!!🐶 The first official Fourth Friday at the Fairgrounds for 2026 will be focused on raising funds (and other donations) for the Blackford County Animal Shelter 🐾❤️ Join us at the Blackford County Fairgrounds on May 22 from 5:00pm-9:00pm for lot’s of fun!! There will be adoptable dogs there waiting to meet you.

  • What to Bring: Donations for the Shelter. This can include: Monetary donations, Clumping Cat litter, Purina Cat or Kitten Chow, Purina Dog Chow, Friskies Pate Canned Cat Food, Laundry Detergent, Fabric Softener, Bleach, Pine Sol, Paper Towels

On Saturday, May 30th, we’re tackling a big project at Blackford County Animal Shelter—cleaning out and organizing a packed semi trailer so we can better serve the animals in our care.

👉 We’ll work until the job is done (the more help we have, the faster we finish!)

-It may be hot, trailer can get warm 🔥
